Heyyyyyy I'm a Grandma!

Latest update, my son had a baby girl at approx 5.20pm yesterday.

Both Mum and daughter are fine. Baby weighed in 1.8 kilograms and the doctors are happy with that. She is in an incubator for the time being.

I am thrilled at having a granddaughter after having all boys in the family.

And thank you all for your kind messages yesterday and only sorry I couldn't let you all know sooner due to my home computer on the blink!!

Ooooooooooooooh congratulations - I too became a Nanna on 22nd November - baby Alfie is 2.5 weeks now and gorgeous!!

I dont know I married a toy boy and now he is a grandad!!

Yes Mamma, I have seen her, we rushed to the hospital last night. She is adorable.

She will be so spoilt and because my son is very tall, she has his long fingers, legs and toes!!!

Congratulations to one new grandma from another. My sons wife gave birth by C-section on Friday 6.50 am to a 4.07 kilograms (9lbs) baby boy - Roan Stuart. It's great isn't it, my first. :-))))

Yes redcrx , that's a good weight for her gestation I agree , my son was only 2 .3 and he was full term . Is she breathing on her own funnygirl ? xxxxx

Congratulations funnygirl you brought tears to my eyes I remember when my first grandson was born 10 years ago I was like you over the moon and when I walked in and looked in the cot I could see the likeness of when my son was born. I now have 2 .Enjoy every minute as they grow up too fast.
