Chiropody / Foot care for OAP's

I seem to think I have read somewhere that this treatment if free for pensioners and free home visits are available when they reach a certain age. Am I right or have I dream't it?
How and where do I find out more?
Thank-you

I'm almost sure that in my area it is only available on the NHS to pensioners who have specific medical conditions such as diabetes but again your GPs surgery would be able to advise
Good luck

This suggests that chiropody for foot problems is free regardless of age:

That may be the theory Ethel , I have very painful problems with my feet , according to my doctor the wait would be over a year .
As I'm planning on a visit to Greece, where I used to live (& get full one hour treatment - corns, ingrowing toenails the lot for 25 Euro) before then , I don't think I'll bother .
