Hello Everyone!! It's Friday, end of the week for me. Got all the weekend off to finish my Christmas shopping.Ooh, I'm not really looking forward to it though. It's going to be chaos when I nip to town tomorrow. All the hustle and bustle trying to find a parking space, and then queueing up ages at the tills. I think I will walk into town.It will be much easier that way.I'm not going to buy many heavy goods. It will be mostly gift vouchers and just a few small things. Going to buy Wall-E on dvd for my young niece and nephew, and some booze for some of the family. If I buy too many heavy things I have always got my mum to fall back on,as she will take her car into town very early.
Has anyone finished their Christmas shopping yet? Plus we haven't yet put up our Christmas Tree yet either! We will definitely get that down from the attic and put that up tomorrow,as well as the other decorations. We do have a few decorations up already. There is one neighbour who has put up some lovely Christmas lights in the front of their house.Has any of your neighbours made an effort and put up lights and things in your area?
Don't have any immediate neighbours knobby, but the first house I come to's got the lot - lights round the door, windows, on the wall....
I want to put another Christmas tree up - at the back of our place.
Hello Ice!
How you doing hun?
Have you got a big family to shop for?
I have got a bit left to do before the big day.
It's crazy really. Some people seem to rush around piling as much as they can into their trolleys and baskets, and then having to wait ages at the checkouts.
Thank goodness Christmas only arrives once a year.
After a week tomorrow,Christmas is really officially over.
We are not really going to put any lights up in the front of our bungalow.
But, we will put up a few window lights instead.
It will make the place a bit more cheerful.Especially when the little kids see them.
:-)
Sounds lovely Inhotep! Yes, as for the family, we have a large extended one. Having a brood of them round for Christmas dinner, and then some others over the rest of the holiday. It's all go. : )
Looks like you're going to have a really nice Crimbo Ice!
It's nice to be with family during the festive season I must admit. We are going to my niece's on Christmas Day who lives several miles from where we live, and she has a little baby boy and a 5 year old daughter.
She and her hubby have offered to make the Christmas dinner for us this year.I'm pretty sure we're going to have a nice time.Problem is,I can't drink much because I'm driving.
