Morning all, it's time for that certain shopper to be hitting the high street

You all know the one: Your Husband / Boyfriend On a mission Wandering around the lingerie / shoe department with fear in their eyes and a look of desperation and panic. They pick up a size 8 red and black basque and look sheepishly at the nearest passing female for comparison. They select a size 3 knee high patent boot and try to make it look like it will go over the knee. When they are approached by a predatory sales advisor asking if they need assistance, they breath a sigh of relief and explain they are looking for something for their better half, to wear to take the 4 kids to and from school. They pay top dollar, and leave knowing (hoping) they got it right this year, and proud that they did it all by themselves! We love these shoppers, pound signs roll in our eye sockets, the Cosmetic girls flirt madly hoping they can sell the dearest perfume by offering to gift wrap it, it's a tough job, but someone has to do it lol Have a great last shopping Saturday before Christmas guys!!!!

Oh and remember, it's Fiancee for a girl, Wife cards sell out before 5pm on Christmas Eve and a pretty bow covers a multitude of misdemeanors

hi BM, yep we open at 8am today, close at 7pm, no excuse for anyone to miss a bargain, our womens wear sale reductions are now live and so no boxing day panic!!!

beejay, reconoitering is a good strategy, this year i have had one bloke use it, how inpressive eh? he actually thunk in advance lol

I have to do my weekly battle with Tesco shortly. I shall try to get as much as possible done and try to avoid the battle over the sprouts which breaks out every Christmas. I'll avoid the High street too this weekend Dot - it was bad enough the other evening.

i am fine BM -y'days ailment seems to have subsided to a constant mind-blowing pain
when i said i was going to fight thro the crowds^--i actually meant i was going down the pub an its always busy on a saturday and probly more so today-

Morning bensmum , good luck battling the supermarket hun . I did my xmas shop , apart from fresh stuff Tuesday , yesterday with my son .
I've just opened and checked my Amazon parcel that I picked up from the post depot yesterday . I'm so glad I checked it as the toy doesn't work ! I'm very disappointed , my first ever buy from Amazon and they send me a dead sheep .

Aww - shame bigmamma, Amazon is usually pretty good too. have you tried anywhere else like Play.com or Firebox? You sjould still have time.

Just looked on the Amazon site and filed out the necessary info for returning it , and now there's a page to print out with a form for inside the box , and a label to stick on for return postage . x

I've woken up with terrible tooth-ache.. I've never had it before and it hurts. a lot! it's kind of my gum behind my wisdom tooth so more gum-ache... anyway, I guess none of you are dentists that can cure me, so I'm waiting til 9 to phone in! have done the hot salt water thing.. blueerrgggggghhhhh!!

I was going to go shopping today but I have a really bad cold AGAIN!
I can't believe it.
Life is not being kind to me at the moment. I had my bag stolen the other day with all my keys in it and purse cards etc.
Cost a fortune to have house locks changed.
It can only get better now can't it !!!!
