Yeah ive had it a few times mainly after playing sports or running for too long and its the worst pain ever,i just rest and try take it easy,i couldnt bear to have it all the time tho just for no apparant reason,rest is my only solution for it tho but their might be painkillers out there for it.
You could use a gel filled pad that you fix to your shoes, that will ease the stress on your heel. In Singapore there is a brand called 'party feet' that I bought, You may be able to find an equivalent where you live.
There are also refreshing foam foot sprays that you could use to ease tired and aching feet.
