what are the chances of having a ginger baby?

i have recently found out im pregnent, i have natrally light blond hair and blue eyes and my boyfriends is really dark brown/black with brown eyes we've been told that we have quite a high chance of having a giner baby.. is this true???

My Italian mum had dark hair,my English/irish dad had dark hair as an adult and was blonde as a child. I had very darkred hair.....and I LOVED it...I always felt special. But that was in America where i was born.....they aren't as predjudiced there as here in the UK.

My mother is Spanish and her hair is as black as it gets. My Father is blonde. My hair was blonde when I was born, in my teens it was strawberry blonde and now it is a light auburn. My hairdresser told me recently that my hair colour was one of the most requested when people have it dyed. Red or ginger hair is not something to be ashamed of!!!

My mother was 'strawberry blond', my father had dark hair.I started as a blond, then finished up being dark brown. If i try to grow a beard it ends-up being grey,black,brown & ginger!
