I get about 2 rocks of crack per hour, which i think is the minimmum wage where i live.
I get 10000 a year which I feel is good as I am a (student) surgical tech.
Everyone who is working and earning will feel that they deserve more and that it is not enough for what they actually do. If you can live a comfortable lifestyle and enjoy little treats now and then then I think that is enough earnings. And before I get classed as a doley! I work for myself therefore pay myself however much i think I deserve, which due to me posting on here should be not very much!! but think the average in U.K is around 28000 per annum and thankfully I can pay more than the average to the only employee, me!!
I earn 12300 per year which I am 'ok' with for now, but at times feel like I deserve a pay rise for all the hours I put in!!
ICEMANSAV you think the average wage is 28000 per year? Wow can I work for you?
I WANT TO BE AVERAGE
Yeah i want to be average as i earn about half that, and no it is not enough. Can see iceman's point but really half of the reason we don't earn enough is cos the government takes it away. i would like to earn sevral million a year tax free, any suggestions?
I earn 15k a year, but I'm going to win the lottery this week so it doesn't matter anyway.
Not if I win first. I'm also going to get at least 32,000 on the next episode of who wants to be a millionaire. not that i'll be on it or anything... I'd quite like to be average too. At the moment I'm about half average minus another couple of thousand...and living in London. And renting. And without parent handouts of any description. And with a shopping problem. So you can understand my dilemma...
I get about 20,000, working my arse off.
I get 16000 for a really ultra stressful job and where I live (which is a high property price area) that's considered quite a lot. With 550pm mortgage and 100pm council tax it doesn't go a long way.
I agree that gov taxes and NI take too much, it really makes you feel pushing yourself to make more and work harder is rewarded by increased taxes and contributions. Thankfully I got on the property ladder at only 18 and that has stood me in good ground with the house price boom, there is a sayin though, what goes up must come down!! Also disagree with women being paid less ( generally ) and I really dislike the huge handouts that immigrants receive. 3 bed semi in London rent free! makes me sick!
