Not a question, more of a comment on why large companies are going into administration.
I recently ordered on line from Mothercare a cot mattress for 99.99 and attempted to use a widely distributed voucher giving me 10% discount. I was advised the discount was for orders in excess of 100. So I added to my order a bag of cotton wool balls @ 1. ?? which entitled me to he discount offered.
Today a large private delivery truck arrived, the driver and mate came to the front door, not to deliver the mattress but the cotton wool buds which could be quite easily have been delivered by post and put through the letter box.
I told them I was expecting a cot mattress. They replied
" we will probably see you again tomorrow"
If the mattress arrives tomorrow it will have taken two deliveries to the same address on two different occasions.
Sorry to go on but I do find it difficult to comprehend why such a small item (cotton wool balls) could not be posted or included with the delivery of the matress (by van).
Surely there must be some one who can co-ordinate these orders / deliveries in order to cut costs?
Mothercare following Woolworths ? Who knows.

It's all her fault.
Absolutely barmy, dilli - makes no sense at all. This week I ordered a dinner service plus 2 extra dinner plates and 2 pasta bowls. Bizarrely on the invoice these extras and the cost of postage were deducted from the cost of the dinner service, so I'm getting the whole lot far cheaper than had I bought just the dinner service.
