Mascara adverts etc
How on earth can they get away with advertising things like mascara, then putting at the bottom of the screen that the ones shown had inserts. Also same with Crows Feet Corrector (would love to have been in the Advertising Agency brainstorming meeting when they came up with that name) it then says it does not have the same effect as a clinical treatment or something like that. Then there's the car ads, that show a car but tell you that the one advertised does not have the same features. Surely this is all against the Trade Descriptions Act.
While I am on a roll how can these furniture companies keep advertising their sales are ending on a certain day then the next day they have extended it?

Wonder if C. Bang contains it!!! Mwhahaha!!
Well, lankeela - this is it, with the advertising execs. They think they can baffle everyone with science, but when it boils down to it, the best and safest cleaners are made from very basic substances, such as salt & lemon juice. The more rubbish they put into their products, the more likely they are to harm the environment - and whatever it is you're cleaning!

lankeela there was an investigation into l'oreal adverts because they used lash inserts hair extensions airbrushing etc.the trades description people got involved and i think as long as they state that lash inserts etc are used they can get away with it.seems pointless to me tho as why advertise a product that doesnt do what it say?as for the seetee ads they have been annoying me for 20 years lol
