im too embarrassed to go to a doctor about this but if anyone can give me advice id be blessed. i noticed a dark oval ring around my anus, im very fair and its very obvious. my sex life will be over if it is not removed. i tried exfoliating i thought maybe the skin darkened cause ive been having gas problems but it dosent seem to be working. i shower daily so i dont know why this would occur. any advice?

some people do have darker skin there. Statistics prove that not one of them has had to say goodbye to a sex life, though if you don't want it to be noticed you could avoid anal sex. (I'm assuming it's an inch or two. If it's a foot or two, see a doctor.)

Yes most people have darker skin around the anus and yes you can get it bleached (very common, which is why you don't see porn stars with a darker area and I assume why you think there's something wrong with you).

When you think some people do go through the embarrassment and pain - it is painful - of having this area of their body bleached, it could be genuine.

i dont think this is a joke at all...it is exactly this type of problem that people are most afraid to talk to others about - why ridicule?

it is a known 'problem' - if thats what people want to call it - it is completely normal though - and yet another example of cosmetic 'enhancements' appearing to become more 'normal' than what is natural.

dont worry about it, lakitu is right - the bleaching is more a porn thing.

i think if a guy ( or girl) is about to stick something up there then they aren't really going to be bothered about the skin being slightly darker, it would be more off putting if it stunk or had cling ons dangling from it
