Gas lift table problem.

I have recently bought a gas lift bar table and chairs for my kitchen. I am really pleased with them apart from one small problem. I have set the table to the right height but I can't stop it revolving. I realise that this is what happens but because the table is square it looks odd! Is there any way of stopping it from revolving?
