iv been on the pill for about 9 years can it make u moody and you dont even relises? should i try and see what im like without it can i take a 2 week break off my pill and then just start again and should i be having regular smears iv never had one ! any help gratefull x

The pill is a possible cause. I know people who have reacted badly to the implant but it was a more immediate thing.
Coming off the pill could change your hormones just as going on it does, whether it is for the better or not is hard to say unless you've been there.
I'd recommend discussing your problems with your GP and coming up with a plan together with them and getting booked in for your smear at the same time.
If you don't get much help from your GP them a local well woman or family planning clinic may be an idea.

I used to be on Dianette as I had bad skin but after about 5 years of being on it I realised it was making me depressed so I changed brands and after some trial and error using others I am now on Yasmin which does me just fine. :-)
Anyway the point I am making is discuss this with your GP who can either suggest a different pill or an alternative method of contraception altogether.
