moles on the neck

Why do so many people have a mole on the back of the neck just below the hair line on the right side. Check your family and mates or yourself and you will find its there. what does it mean.

you're right. i think one of my daughters has one, too. i'll check when i see her. will get back with you if she does.

Two of our Granddaughters have moles in the same place. We're just very careful when we brush their hair!

Are they genuine moles or skin tags? 

 What I thought was a mole my GP said was in fact a skin tag and was caused  by collars etc. continually rubbing the same area - and most people have them on their bodies somewhere or other.

As previously mentioned our two Grandaughters have moles on the nape of their necks. They were born with them & they are definitely moles.

I've got them pretty much every where EXCEPT on the nape of my neck at the right side. does this mean I'm  just trying to grow one there to be like everyone else
