Got terrible indigestion, blinkin painful, only got that since i grew older,various veins,muscles aches,skin tags what other pleasures await???

There is no fun in growing 'mature'. Indigestion I discovered in my mid 30's & now I have to eat much slower & never bolted down - on the 'hurry-up'. Varicous veins - I guess I've been lucky there - usually a heriditary complaint. I do get bags under my eyes - you can spend fortunes on tiny pots of cream but they only contain the same formulae as used in 'pile ointment' - under 2 quid at Tesco! If I blink too fast - I must confess that - my eyes make very indelicate noises - but Hey-Ho!

I do sympathise- I have really started to notice all this now I am in my late 30s. Frightening. I guess all we can do is try and make our bodies nicer places to habitat for the years we have left.
My indigestion turned out to be a hiatus hernia, and you can have an operation for that, but it is not nice.
Varicose veins and skin tags can be dealt with at the Docs... I reckon this is why you see more middle-aged people jogging than younger ones! Younger people take note- you think it won't happen to you.. It will!

Puddicat .I feel for ya..lol . I've got acid reflux, an umbilical hernia, skin tags but I get shot of those by twisting em2-3 times daily til they drop off. My legs ache,no varicose veins tho' as yet. My teeth and gums hurt,sinus problems worsen with age. Oh and my back aches when I stand over the sink. Thats all up to now and I dont complain..lol

My MIL is 84,she goes swimming twice a week,does water aerobics for the elderly and plays indoor bowls. She jumps way over my head,the bitch..lol

Wisdom/ Knowledge/ confidence/ allowed to misbehave and put it down to age/ hero worship by your grandchildren (if yo are lucky enough to have them)/ Lovely memories/ No fesr of unwanted pregnancy could go on butwould start to sound smug.
