cat scale and polish
6 Answers
We are taking our cat to the vet for a scale and polsh on her teeth. Its going to cost 150-200. We are willing to pay it because we love her to bits. However, does this have to be done every year or can this be prevented by brushng her teeth? Although we have pet insurance, they have said cat dentistry is a gray area, she might be covered or she might not.

I can also recommend Plaque off, its fantastic stuff. i have a rescue dog she is 7 years old, when i first had her, her teeth were covered in thick scale, we were reluctant to have a dental because of heart problems, so tried plaque off. Its not an over night solution but three months later there was a Massive improvement, a year later and her teeth look like new, a good quality dried food has also helped, but the cat (now 7) also has plaque off and her teeth are pearly white. I have never brushed her teeth and she has never had a dental.
