Strange Interview
I just wanted some feedback.
I had my second interview today, and I don't think it went well. I'm a former teacher and have been working retail the past two years. This interview was for a sales manager position.
Yesterday, I interview with the vice-president who invited me back for my second interview today.
"Eric" one of the sales directors meet me at the door and we chatted for about 15 minutes. Then I went into a room where I listened to the presentation for the next 45 minutes.
After that the vice-president talked to me briefly and seemed to be concerned that "Eric" said I was a little quiet or maybe just nervous. I'm never quiet and asked "Eric" a lot of questions about the company, and besides, I was not nervous at all.
I felt that the whole thing was suspect and was thinking that maybe "Eric" and the other salesman were a little resentful that I was a woman. I noticed that all the women employees worked in the office. By the way, the vice-president's husband is the owner of the company. I may or may not have the final interview with him tomorrow.
