Wide Plank Floors
6 Answers
I live in a 120+ farm house with wood plank floors. Some of the planks are up to 20 inches wide! The past owners painted the floors (red, brown, tan). How do I go about stripping the paint to show the orig. floors? Also the past owners painted the wood beams on the walls. Can those be stripped?

I suggested sand blasting because JR has beams and posts that need stripping as well as the floor. If it's just the floor you want to do, then standard floor sanding is fine - but bear in mind if there's a thickness of paint on the floor, it will bung up a few sanding sheets in the process. :o)))
