My little 11 year old brother has two warts/verrucas (i dont know the difference) on his right foot one under his toe and the other on the soul of his foot. I have only recently found out about this but he says he has had them for so long he cant remember when he didn't. There is no point in me trying to take him to the doctor as if you are under 15 you need an adult with you and my mum NEVER takes us to the doctor. I was wondering if there was anything we could buy to help this without perscription. I have already tried scholl stuff that is meant to freeze it off and i followed the instructions carefully applying it once then waiting 14 days to see if it has gone, if not then reapply it. We did this 3 times on each one but neither dissapeared. I thought it might be because he has had them for so long. Anyway any advise would be great but there really is no way of getting to the doctor so please dont tell me i need to sorry:( thankyou anyway(:

I am rather concerned that you said your mother NEVER takes you to the doctor. I'm sure she would if you were really ill.
I found tea tree oil applied regularly on my son's foot cured warts and a verucca but if it's been there some time it just might need medical intervention. Can't your brother say that the veruccas are painful as they can be.
If you definitely can't get to see a doctor (haven't you got a relation who could take your brother?) go into the chemist's and have a word with them. Tell them what you've tried and they might have something stronger and will probably treat your brother themselves if they're nice people.
Great advice abovr but it does concern me about the doctors.

Teachers can be good for this. I remember being really ill at college and my mum wouldn't let me stay off and one of my teachers who had questioned why I was there said I could come in as normal and they would find somewhere I could rest and get better.

Do you have a school nurse who could help? A PE teacher could be a good choice as it's a suitable excuse that they could have picked it up as infectious to others in swimming or barefoot PE and could maybe write a note to your mother or help in some way?

How old are you? I am guessing under 15 so you can't take him but another relative is possible as above.

You could also check if there is a walk in centre near you which is easier to go to without making appointments and such.

my boy had a huge verucca on his foot and a big wart on his finger, i tried numerous things and none them worked. As a last resort i treid Wartner and they both dissapeared within 14 days
Got rid of my daughters verruca with a corn plaster...Left it on for about a week....
