Where do you feel happiest, if its england then move to England, if its Canada then stay there!  Can i just say that us English guys are so much better than them north american gits!
The first thing I want to say is that I don't know anything about your family life so obviously can't comment on anything like that but in my opinion people generally have more fun when on holidays, which sounds like when you visit your dad. Everywhere can become boring when you start to have to do ordinary mundane day-to-day things. The grass is always greener and all that.

You could try living at your dad's house for a trial period - perhaps 3 months or so and then see how you feel? In response to Dick Cheese's answer, I was quite impressed with Canadian men when I went travelling in Canada recently. Just luurve the way they say 'eh' all the time ;-)

Just to say I was going to post an almost identical answer to DOB's.   Great minds think alike!

I don't know how old you are, but you sound quite young.  Possibly Mum has been the one who has had to dish out rules and discipline to you over the years and Dad therefore seems much nicer.  If you were actually living with Dad, then things might be different!

Krissy, why don't you try spending a summer at your dad's house, just to get a feel for whether a longer time period seems good.  That way you can get a sense of whether it's that "the grass is always greener, etc."

You say you feel happiest at your dad's house, but could this be because you only see him for 3 weeks a year, so it's a novelty i.e. you get the best of him and vice versa? Your mum then has to deal with the everyday stuff....
