I personally can't stand the stuff though I'm on a chronic pain relief drug which, as a handy side effect, helps restless legs.
I find keeping my legs cool helps.
Silky/satiny bedclothes are good for that (Primark do nice but cheap ones) or a throw and not having anything too heavy on them. I also always have a window open (though I'm a fresh air freak) and have a cool blower thing I put in timer for an hour.
I used to use voltarol gel but it was thinning my skin so have been using a glucosamine gel (in the pound shop too!) or aloe vera gel.
Keeping my legs raised a bit can help but I need to move mine around too much to keep them on anything lol :)

Hi Myselfness :)
Jennas right about the soda water and quinine content, so do try it.
I also use a Chillow, without it I wouldn't get any sleep lol although the cat has managed to puncture it several times now!!!
