Someone was talking about their hates - what are your likes, everybody? And I don't mean great important things like children, families, religion. Just little things that Julie Andrews sang about in Sound of Music like, "brown paper packages tied up with string". To start, one of mine include the smell of vanilla scented candles.

listening to my son and his dad laughing and playing upstairs in the evening before dinner.

Bacon Sandwiches with brown sauce

The sound of rain and wind outside when I'm snuggled up in bed.

Smell of freshly bathed  babies and little children before they go to bed.

Big impromptue kisses and hugs

Our Grandchilren saying "I love you Nanny & Grandad".

Freshly bathed babies - babies necks.

Johnsons Baby Talc.

The twittering of the birds.

Waking through the woods, shuffling your wellies in the autumn leaves.

Real open coal/log fires.

The onslaught of snow.

Adorned Christmas trees.

Christmas day, with all our family.

The sound of Christmas crackers.

Sitting on the sofa bed in our bedroom in the middle of the night snuggled up in a quilt watching lightening/ fireworks/ houesfires (joke) from the window ..... When my cat jumps into bed for a cuddle ..... The smell of Xmas dec's, they've been in the loft for months and are about 80 yrs old but although they smell dusty it's comforting ..... Being the first person to make a foot print on fresh snow ..... Walking on the beach in the wind when you;re all wrapped up and snug
