What support can home care services offer mentally ill people?

I think it really does depend on what illness they are suffering from.

It is such a vast spectrum.

Depends on where in the country you live too. Social services homecare id deffo a postcode lottery....NHS is too but less so...so ask locally

I used to work in that field and we did a support service where we visited the person in the their home and supported them to live as Independent as possible.
Social services should be able to help you with this and lead you to relevant agency's who can provide support.
