I want youthful, glowing skin. Please I never had it when I was youthful and glowing. Whatever can you do to shift dull skin into fantabulous skin. My pores are large to... and dark circles sorta suck. I know you can mix together table sugar and olive oil (glycolic acid) it's cheaper then other store bought chem. peels but I was wondering if you should eat a special diet or drink water or something. thanks

Sada, I belive we have a qualified beautician on here - so hopefully she'll be along shortly to give you expert advice.

Personally, I would start off with facial saunas, then cold water on your face will close up your pores. Also drinking 2 litres of water a day helps. Lots of walking gives my face a nice glow, so perhaps you could give that a try. There's nothing like the natural way - to keep you glowing night & day!

Drink loadsa of water. There really isn't anything better for your skin that hydrating it. I would recommend Barbara Daly glowing cream which is available from tesco. Its won loadsa awards as it really makes your skin glow, but not too much so that you can't wear it everyday. Its only about 6.00 in a small jar. Its like a light foundation which you can either use on its own or under foundation. It has little light particles in it and it really works.
I agree with Smudge,2 litres of water a day and fresh air cant be beaten. Also eat lots of nuts and seeds and fresh veg.I have also started to exfoliate and use a moisturising mask once a week.I've spent a small fortune on creams and lotions over the years but recently just started to eat more natural food and it has made far more difference than any products. Also get plenty of sleep and you'll be glowing in no time!
I've just noticed you've also posted a question about losing weight. All these tips for improving your skin will also help with your weight loss so thats a win,win situation for you!!Nuts and seeds are high in calories but they contain essential fatty acids which will improve your skin and hair no end and also they help reduce the bad fat in your body, so dont be tempted to skip on them totally, but eat them in moderation.
Loads of water and the Liz earl skincare range have done wonders for my skin which, like yours, has never been fabulous. I am now 51 and my skin is in its best shape ever.
yes, drink plenty of water, large pores ? do not use any oils, creams, or even make up, clear  your complete body system out , which means good healthy food/diet......... hot water flannel/towel upon your face will clear all blackheads/spots... and apart from  the 'must drink water '  ..... good ,strong ,fresh air walks, wind and rain prefered over sunshine, and in taking a shower use a sort of rough flannel and scrub your face, ( i use a soft nail brush ! )   and , being a man, after shaving i use  nivea mild balm, which really can be used on any part of your body, leaving it soft and feeling great ...... i'm straight ! and at 66 looks good which makes me 'feel good ' which in turn gives me complete confidence throughout.    the answer to your problem is in your hands now

Drinking Loads of Water, plenty of fresh air.  Not too much makeup.  Regular sleep, healthy food.  Moisturiser.  Oh and try to keep stress free, which is virtually impossible for most of us!

I also swear by Clarins Flash Beauty Balm.  I sound like an advert but it's great.

Absolute minimum drink eight glasses of water, I try for 4 litres.  I am 41 and people believe I am 25.  I know people take off years for vanitys sake, but it still says a lot for water
