80s kids game show feat "gronda gronda"

80s kids game show, all computer graphics backgrounds, a big swimming pool that was supposed to have acid or something in it. someone or something called gronda gronda. can anyone help with the name? Or did I imagine it all?

It was 'The Adventure Game' the gronda thing was a talking aspidistra called 'The Rangdo of Arc' who was the ruler of Arg who had morphed himself into the said plant. It made the gronda, gronda noise. As as for the Aussie that kept singing Waltzing Matilda' backwards!! I could go on.

I loved that show as a kid................does it show!!
