Cycles after coming off pill?

Hi all
I came off the pill 4 week ago now (last period started 6/4/09) can anyone tell me when my period should be due this month? I worked it out at monday just gone and still no sign but i know it can take a while for body to sort itself out after coming off pill. is there any way of telling? Since monday i have had really sore nipples so dont knwo what thats a sign of. i tested last night, it was negative. any suggestions? thanks xx

It all depends on what your normal cycle would have been..I would suggest that you wait for maybe another week or so and if you still have no period and still have tender breasts then do another pregnancy test..The tenderness may just be due to hormones as your body gets used to being natural again. Your cycle can also sometimes take several months to get back to normal after coming of birth control.

I came off the implant last year and approximately one week before each period I get very tender breasts..

It's kinda difficult to guess what your cycle would be as when you are on the pill you basically have a false cycle that is controlled by the pill.

Hiya. I came off mine in January. I went 72 days then had a period. Im now on about day 46 waiting for another one to appear. I'm hoping that I dont have 72 day cycles as that would not be great to only be ovulating 4 times a year! I think it's just a case of waiting. If it doesn't appear then just do a pregnancy test every week or so and wait.....

hi, thanks for replies, luckily by the way things are my cycles havent been too affected as AF has showed its ugly face, at day 32 so not too bad. thanks for your help xxx
