Whenever i run for longdistances then stop...i get this really bad stomache ache...its horrible..i feel like im going to throw up, and it feels like really bad cramps all in one..does anyone know what causes this feeling?

It sounds like you are maybe doing more than you can cope with? When I first started running/jogging I also had this problem but I found that with time as I got used to it, I was ok. Start at a low pace, for a short time and then gradually come to a stop. Also, if you've just eaten, that may also cause the sick feeling and cramps. Wait a few hours, then start any sort of exercise. If you're doing everything right, then it might be worth talking to your GP.

I waited for my Mum to finish a marathon once...made the mistake of standing right next to the finish line. It was a full scale pukerama, almost everyone was chucking up, spitting or dripping snot. Now I cheer from the side!
