that great today - afternoon folks - I got up this morning only to find the biggest cold sore has come out on my lip - my body is all aching and I have gone deaf in one ear.

Putting that aside - what has really pi$$ed me off, is hearing all those MPs saying how sorry they are for claiming expenses and now making a big thing of writing cheques and giving it back.

If this had'nt been exposed, they WOULD STILL BE DOING IT - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - TO$$ERS

they knew this was going to happen so why didn't pay the money back before they were shamed into it....

i get cold sores n all, bloody horrible things but i take extra vit c and zinc tablets and i haven't had one for ages now

acetone (nail polish remover) dabbed on cold-sore to cure instantly.

Blimey...really going through it today....cold sore, aching body and deaf in your lughole!

What you stuck in it? You may have an ear infection...have you been down the docs?

This may help.......whisk yourself down there and recharge and pamper yourself....works for me!! x

I think you have swine flu. Have you come out in rashers? That's snout to do with it really, I'm sure you can be cured, with some oinkment!! You could try ringing NHS direct, but when I did , all I got was crackling!!

if you have a cold sore on your lip you need to find a horse, lift its tail and kiss its bottom.

This won't cure your cold sore but it will stop you licking your lips.

Mccluff - Thats the key word 'shamed into it' - they would'nt have bothered if it had'nt been exposed.

I have'nt had a cold sore for ages - and hey presto, my lip looks like I have had botox - ouch !!

Hi Yogi - I have been to Henlow Grange many moons ago for a long weekend, it was fab - I took a mega sized packet of Twix bars with me, which my friend locked in a drawer - but the food was great and I lost 5lbs that weekend.

DEN53- Hope you feel better soon. Get cold sores and mouth ulcers most months so can relate to you big time. Have body aches regularly, each day every day,too. Have you been to GP about going deaf in one ear as last time this happened to me just needed ear syrringing. Equally nauseated with the corruption in politics right now! First it was the greedy bankers + Fred the Shred then it came to light the greedy Politicians who mostly earn vast sums of money yet still swindle us all in more ways than one. Hopefully, ethics will be on the menu right across the board soon as everyone needs to be accountable to each other especially in these credit crunch times! bats- love your sense of humour ;-) Loved the Aesop quote too ummmm :-) Green tea + Purdeys+fruit help to boost my immune system, btw. markh - would a good idea - greedy bast$$ds - they treat the general public and voters who put them in power like complete idiots. I think this disclosure about expenses is only the tip of the iceberg.
