Mirena coil side effects

This is my 2nd mirena coil. The 1st one I didn't have any side effects, but since I have had my 2nd in January this year, I have had nothing but trouble. I have put on nearly 2 stone since January, I'm tired all the time, my legs & ankles have swelled & ache, I have really awful spots, which I have never suffered from spots before in my life.
I'm not sure whether to put up with the side effects or get it removed. I had this due to really painful periods & was bleeding 3 weeks out of 4. So I am not sure what to do?
