discharge from teenager
14 Answers
I was clearing my daughters room out (she is 14) and found some dirty clothes, I put them in a pile and there was a bra that I noticed had discharge marks as though it was coming from her nipples, she isnt fully developed yet and is still growing, there is no chance of pregnancy...should I be concerned or is it a normal thing for teenage girls?

This can be quite scary, but unless the discharge has pus or blood in it, or if it is brownish in color (most likely caused by an infection, although blood can indicate cancer), it is probably nothing to worry about. It is normal to have a nipple discharge that is thin and milky, clear, light green, grayish, or light yellow. Again, see your health care provider if you are unsure about any nipple discharge that you may experience.

I've never heard of this and have always been told any kind of discharge from the nipples should be treated with suspicion, unless you've just had a baby or are pregnant.
Are you sure it's discharge and not some kind of body lotion or creams she's been using? If it is, then you probably need to investigate this further.
