im just curious to know how this works. I dont know if its the same for everyone but ive noticed that whenever i ever i get ill, i tend to get one symptom at a time until they gradually build up to the final two or three days of having all the symptoms.
for example. on day one, i go to sleep feeling fine. wake up with sore throat. i always start with sore throat - always!
day two - (like now) i have sore throat + runny nose
day three (tommorow) im expecting to feel groggy, tired and generally wasted + other two symptoms
so it seems that everytime i go to sleep, my body appears to let its guard down and make things worse.
Its also the same with toothache - if i feel some slight pain during the day but its nothing serious, i know, and i mean I KNOW that when i wake up the next day it will be worse!
then on the flip side - if i have eye pain or a headache, i know i can "sleep" it off until the pains gone, the same with stomach aches...wierd.
I'm the same, whenever I feel a sore throat I know I will get a cold. At this stage I always try and take a lemsip or something to try and stop a full blown cold
Out of curiosity, do you take anything on day one to make sure you don't have the second symptom next day? I'd take a couple of paracetemol, spray an essential oil into throat, drink plenty of fluids, take another two paracetemol before having an early night with a lovely warm milk and honey drink.
