How do I improve my gum health - everytime I go for a check up I score full marks for my teeth but loose out when it comes to gum health. I use a sonicare toothbrush for the full 2 mins twice a day, floss daily and use fluoride toothpaste, but its always the same every time I go. Anybody got any tried and tested solutions?? Cheers

I was advised to use Corsadil mouthwash for better gum health... it can stain some user's teeth...
I've recently been reading about Gengigel, it seems to have very good reviews but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe someone on here has?

Yeah snags,my dentist told me to use corsadil ,and I did every day for about 6 weeks. Then I noticed the inside of my teeth turned black. When I went back to the dentist she told me it should not be used every day, only once a week. Why the foook could she not have told me that at the start.Anyway I had to have 3 more visits to have it scraped off.Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I now use Tepe interdental brushes instead of flossing. They make different sizes and after using regularly you should be able to go down a size.
I have been using them for a few years now and have go my gum scores down from a 4 to mostly a 1. I also brush with a bulk standard toothbrush.
I really rate these little Tepe brushes. You can buy them in most supermarkets and are not expensive.
Meant to say they may make your gums bleed a little after using initially but mine stopped after using for a few days.
My dentist strongly advises against flossing teeth as there's a risk of cutting into the gum so I use (like squsal) little brushes. Don't use a hard toothbrush but a medium and make sure you brush the insides of your teeth well.
