...those who don't say thanks when you answer their questions. Or if the AB techies could find a way to give them an electric shock the next time they try to ask a new question without having said thanks on their previous threads?
Tongue-in-cheek here obviously and I do know things happen, you mean to say thanks but you forget or your computer crashes and some people even have a life and so on and so forth and I certainly don't have anyone in particular in mind as I write this,* I'm just generally amazed at how many people never say thanks. I don't answer questions out of the goodness of my heart I think it's fun and I learn a lot myself. I think what really bugs me is that I don't understand their way of thinking??
That said, I've seen unhappy ABers ask here on Suggs how they should go about saying thanks, so AnswerBank Ed it may not be self-evident and if you're listening perhaps you could find a way of integrating the option to do so into the window you're in when you're reading the replies to your own questions? Same way it says RATE THIS ANSWER it could also say POST A THANK YOU NOTE (not by every reply but somewhere in the window).
or just electrocute'em;-)
(*nor do I wish this thread to turn into a name them and shame them forum - please respect that)
I have just found this post and would like to thank No.Knowledge for his 'tongue in cheek' answer. Next time it will be a 'head separated from shoulders' reaction....................I thank you.....
If I answer a question, and mine is the only answer or done in super duper fast time, and I don't get a thank you, they go into my ungrateful waanquers memory box and get ignored in the future.
I'd like to thank swede for the suggestion but if someone thanks you, you then have to go back and tell 'em they're welcome, or it was your pleasure or summat like that surely?
