IN the 8 months I've been working at my present company I've had one day off sick, and that was acute (i.e. projectile vomiting) food poisoning. Never eat snail salad. Not that most of you would anyway, I just thought it looked interesting!
did you by any chance watch Trevor McDonald last night to come up with this question!!
I am so naughty, i must admit it, i have taken numerous days off sick in different jobs for all sorts of things. When there is new handbag/shoes, a girls just gotta go grab! I've had the odd 'sale' off work where i have HAD to go queue outside a shop waiting for doors to open so i can grab my bargains!
Can't believe so many of you don't pull the odd sicky especially Casey, never having a day off. I admire you guys, i just couldn't do it!!
Slap my wrists!
I don't, because it would be too easy and too tempting to repeat. In an old job, the Union had negotiated 10 (I think) sick days off a year without the employer being able to formally comment about absence records, the agreement was called "Whitely". Towards the end of the year, the older staff would book a week off on Whitely if they had not had much sick earlier in the year.
