My allotment is 5 rods ..a single plot and it's
10 x 13 metres ...you will have to use an online
converter to go back to imperial ..happy growing !!!
I think 29ft width and 90 ft length
.1 perch/pole/rod=5.5 yards 1 sq perch=30.25 sq yards 7perch area = 212 sq yards = 1908 sq feet. Area (1908) divided by width(29)= 68 feet length. Cor that was fun but think I am correct now.
This is creepy !
Why?
Well, maybe it's me, but ...

Does it have an element of "train spotter" about it ?

Precise attention to detail, on a subject where most people would wonder why it mattered ?

Sorree it's just that I like maths problems and sums and balancing the books and bank reconciliation statements....hang on you are right .It is creepy. I will creep off to my bed now .Nighty night.
