Any home remedies for a sty in the eye?

gold. rub a gold ring on it.

I was always told to rub a GOLD ring on it (it has to be gold, not brass or gold looking) and after a couple of days it will disappear, I know it's an old wives tale but it always seemed to work for me

It is probably caused by a folicle getting infected, ho by the way, it will clear up after a couple of days....

most sensible advice would be to see a pharmacist they will advise you what to do,

This afternoon at the appropriate time for you Brits, take an extra tea bag, wet it with warmish water and apply to the stye... Works well here in the U.S., should work for you too...

lol, you ask for home remedies and yet the answer of a gold ring gets ignored and stars are given for "see a pharmacist" and "itll just clear up".
