Gemini Children

This may sound ridiculous to many people, who think Astrology is just a load of old pants, but I feel there is some truth in it, where the stars define certain character traits.

As many will know, I'm still waiting to give birth. My baby was due on 13th June, which would make his Birth Sign Gemini. I have to say, of many of the people I've met and never taken to, they have been either Geminis or Sagittarians.

I would prefer baby to be born under Cancer, making him, like myself and partner, a fellow water sign. I am Pisces and my Partner is Scorpio.

Does anyone else have a Gemini child and if so, what would you say they're personality and character traits are like? Perhaps I will keep my legs crossed until after 21st.

I dont know any children that are geminis but my sister is and she is very fickle always thinks the grass is greener, therefore has been married three times and is now living alone.

However, my son is a cancerian and has a lovely warm character, very loving.....so cross your legs lol !!

oh dear, I'm a sagittarius and baby bailey is gemini, (I assume so anyway, I'm not v.good at star signs but she was born 11.06.08)

Anyway, I'm not sure what character traits are associated with Gemini but baby bailey is a very happy, easy going child. She doesn't make a fuss about anything, new people places etc don't phase her. She's a real people person, fascinated by everything and very loving too.

Hope this helps, but you may well get your wish, baby bailey was 7 days late.

I'm a Gemini (born on 13 June!) and I was a fairly easy going child, and still am - I was really shy in large groups (still am) but was quite outgoing and, I am told quite funny, in smaller social circles. My husband is a sagitarrian and in many ways is like me - we have been married for 13 years and get on really well, both as partners and friends. I have lots of Cancerian friends and get on well with them. My eldest is a cancerian. and very easy going and loving but a bit too introverted as far as his teachers are concerned - he gets lost in a book or in his own world and never volunteers an answer but he does know when asked. He has also suffered recently from being bullied because he is quiet and wont stand up for himself. My youngest is a Leo and stands out like a sore thumb in our family as he is loud, overconfident and has always been a total tantrum king - we do love him anyway!

I think that no matter what star sign he ends up being, your son will be a product of your own personalities and the way that you deal with him to a great extent, but nature has a wonderful way of putting a spanner in the works from time to time just to keep life interesting. Our house would be a much quieter and calmer place if not for our noisy whirlwind - but a lot less interesting.

Our cancer boy has had the same small group of friends since nursey - he is now almost 9. our leo boy has dragged half the school through our door over the last few years and maintains a list of his top 10 friends which can vary on an hourly basis.

My son is gemini and I know a few. They never stop talking!!!
Nice sign though,loving and loyal and friendly,not good at decisions maybe.
The lady I know has been married three times too,maybe something in that!

Hi Velvetee, my son is a Gemini and he is and always has been a very quiet lad. They are said to have two sides(twins) but i've yet to see the bad side!
They are loving as children, especially boys, I gotta admit I do believe in the astrology thing and as far as I'm aware cancerian men can be devious and are quite selfish....i may just have alienated many many cancerian men....sorry....only speak as I find!
Good luck Velvetee, one thing is for sure, whatever the star sign....no one can ever prepare you for the overwhelming sense of responsibility this little one brings to you...but now my baby is 21 and I just don't know where the years have gone, make the most of each day with your child.

as an aside regarding gemimi's...almost every gemini (man) i know has been married at least once...wonder what that's all about ...lol

My son is a gemini, he is loving and caring, cleans his room up for me everyday and makes me a tea when he knows im feeling down...he is 11, and a little star, even though he can be impatient at times and very shy, his general attitude makes me love him so so much!!! My Gemini child is the most caring/concerned/loyal to my welfare. The Saggitarian always after everything/anything/selfish/greedy - common phrase "can I have it"? The Libran is dogmatic/bullish/opinionated!

Sounds like my sister Tamborine, she's a Sagittarian and very selfish. And come to think of it, my first boyfriend was a Cancerian and he was a nasty piece of work. I'll just be happy baby is born healthy, safe and well, guess that's the best thing to hope for.

ive got a gemini girl and she has been a joy to bring up i have had no problems since birth and she is kind, caring ,thoughtful and very mature for her age sometimes a bit selfish but she is our only one!!! she is 11 now and she has plenty of friends young and old around her i ust think i may be in for some dodgy teenage years!!! lol
