17 Answers
Thanx to all who posted, all had valid points, but to explain, I have had flu since last thursday, never even considered it could be that one,but i was looking after my friends lad,she had to go to work and he was poorly(by looking after i mean he was laid next to me watchin dvds cos i felt ****) when i got a call from his mum sayin 2 of his classmates had had a positive diagnosis. Long story short, paramedics came, werent happy with my breathing,up to hospital and treated like i was radioactive, then sent home. Bin told not to see people, and them i've already bin in contact with to ring GP within 48 hours of any symptoms.
Get wot people say about if i was so bad i wunt be on here, but i'm the other side of it now,and want to do normal stuff.
DONT let this swine flu thing bother u peeps, its all a load of crap, its no worse than bog standard flu,if ya otherwise fit and well,ya'll be fine, honest x x x

Ignore the direct first-hand experience of someone who has had this 'flu and rely solely on what you have read.
It would appear that most of the people who have succumbed, especially, in UK have had some underlying health problems.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery, curvybird :o)

Asthma usually comes under the heading of 'lung disease' red :)
Asthmatics do have to be careful of swine flu...or even ordinary flu. If you are offered a flu jab by your GP every year then you are considered to be more at risk from swine (or any other) flu,if you are not usually offered the jab then you are in the low risk category.
