Pre cancerous breast cells
1 Answers
My sister has recently been diagnosed with having a few pre cancerous cells in her breast after she found a lump.
The doctor has told her she is very lucky to have caught this so early and has advised that surgery is not required but that it would be a good idea for her to take Tamoxifen as a prevention to stop her abnormal cells developing into cancerous ones.
Has anyone else been throyugh anything similar? How long is she likely to have to take the drug for and will it have any side affects?
I just want to know what I can do to help her.
Many thanks
