I had a b/f who had the snip.

Side effects ... a few days later, his privates will get quite bruised (like, seriously purple), and swell up to the size of a large cucumber, and two grapefruits.

Sadly, this is a shorts term effect, and the swelling goes down after a few more days. By the time he is "ready for action", his bits will be back down to normal size.

Shame, really.

Make sure he wears pants that support his privates ... I think the style is called "tanga", or something.

He should be back in action within a couple of weeks - but maybe not too vigorous at first (keep the "slapping" motion to a minimum).

The taste and volume are not affected.

A few of my friends have had the "snip."

Same os what JJ, aka The Seagull said.

And for a while they have to have semen checks to ensure it's worked. So condoms have to be worn for a time.

I think it was about 6-8 weeks after the op.
