So, what have I told you about Olive?

She does the funny little folding thing with the end of the loo roll.

She compulsively watches Jeremy Kyle in my kitchen, while she ... does whatever she does.

Her name is not really Olive, but Craft thought that "Olive" sounded appropriate.

And now ...

Olive does this little "humming to herself" thing.

Now, I'm sure it's never a real tune. I don't think she's thinking of a song. It seems like random little groups of notes.

And then, I start to notice ...

... older people do this a lot.

Or is it just old people in Brighton?

OMG ... if all the old people who lived on this bit of coastline all hummed simultaneously, there would be an earth tremor.

Well ... I think that's one more thing for the list of "Ways To Tell You're Getting Old" ... you start humming strange little groups of notes.

My late Mum used to hum and when i mentioned it she denied it, there was no tune but i think it was compant ie to stop the silence.

I have never folded the end of the loo roll but once we stayed in a very swish country cottage and that is how the roll was so every single time i had to replicate it LOL never done it since (doesnt work with smartprice stuff)
