stressed
Does anybody else get stressed like I do at this time of year?
I haven't even begun my christmas shopping or preparations,as im busy at work and I just feel I have no time to get it done, and I cannot be bothered with crowds and queues- I absoloutely hate shopping ,unless its for me!
Also arranging where we are going for our xmas dinner his family or mine, has already started arguments and I can just feel my blood pressure boiling thinking about it all, even though there's still over 4 weeks to go.

Always fed up at this time of the year because of some personal events, can't be bothered shopping or queueing - everyone wants to push me out of the way, or barge past me or just plainly stands in my way and...arrghhh, don't mention the in-laws saga..... I love christmas itself though, its just the run up (and the dark evenings etc)
Because of family circumstances the Christmas and New Year period is never a happy time of year for us.
We`ve got into the habit of ignoring the so-called festivities and just having a quiet day, decent dinner, and some telly watching. Besides that, the only really happy people seem to be shopkeepers rubbing their hands in glee.
The Season of Goodwill will soon be over and we can all get back to normal.......whatever that is.
Best wishes to all regardless of the season.
Well, if it makes you feel anybetter, I'm in my Freshmen year of high school, AND I'm taking AP Calculus, AND I go to a private religious school so I have to deal with English studies plus others. I have 9 classes every day, have to be at school at 8am (this means getting up at 6:30) and I usually get home between 6pm-6:15pm.
Whenever I get so stressed out I can't think straight I lock myself in my room with a CD player and headphones and listen to music for 10-15 minutes.
