OK, we all make the odd typo now and then, and there are words we sometimes guess at spelling, but the quality of spelling of some questions on this site is atrocious. I'm not talking about text speak, cos I don't even give that time of day, but I have just seen a post and the spelling is so bad, I had to read it twice to take it in.

Am I the only one annoyed (OK, mildy I admit)

Some people might not be able to spell ....
We all make the occasional typographical error and there are words we are unsure of the spelling and make a guess, but the spelling on some of the posts on this site is atrocious.
I am not referring to 'text speak' as I don't consider that to be English but I have just seen a post where the grammar was so bad I had to read to read it twice to understand it.

I did read the post, but I don't feel you are in a strong position to criticise.
I agree with mailmutt. No call to be that thick these days, and if they can't spell, how do they use a computer?
The same way that illiterate people are employed by Royal Mail to deliver the mail?

Resorting to vulgarity and swearing merely highlights your lack of vocabulary.
