Should Timodine sting when used?

Hi has anybody used This cream near anus and should it sting. I applied it and it started to sting almost straight away.

to Squad,
around entrance of anus, it is itchy and bleeds slightly when wiping after motion. and no its not piles doc gave me this cream.

Right...well it will sting if it touches the "pink part" (mucosa) of the anus, but shouldn't sting over the skin.
