Eye Laser Surgery Or not ????
4 Answers
I am pondering if I should opt for eye surgery, I have astigmatism in 1 eye and im sick of wearing glasses and contact lenses, my dream job has always to become a fire fighter and I have noticed some locations are considering people who have had surgery and still have good eye sight after a year from the OP, the prices seem to be good but am worried the usual prices shown will change due to the astigmatism,

I too have astigmatism and have been told by my optician that with my prescription I would not be suitable for laser surgery. If you are still convinced that you want it done, go somewhere reputable and get a quote based on your prescription and then decide, personally, although my eyesight is apalling, I can still see with my contacts and would hate to have surgery for it to go wrong and have worse or no sight at all, but maybe that's just me :)
My friend went along to one of the clinics and went through all the tests and then they said she wasn't suitable. After that they showed her out of the clinic and left her to fend for herself despite not being able to see properly due to the drops they used. It was as if they weren't interested in her after they found out she wasn't going to be spending any money
