have you made a will yet? recorded phone message
5 Answers
im registered with telephone preference service but the other day the phone rang and i got a recorded message asking if i had made a will (bit spooky huh?), the recorded message stated \'this is NOT a sales call\' then quoted statistics about how many people havent made a will, then went on to ask if i was aware that i might be able to receive financial help for making a will and i should press 5 to find out more. so i pressed 5 and was greeted by a gentleman asking if it was the will service i was interested in. when i asked who was calling, he hung up, without speaking another word. anyone had similar, who can tell me who this organisation are? or tell me how i can find out? the number was withheld.

Oh Gosh yes don't use solicitor as they charge a vast amount of money for executor services - charges not usually stated at the time.
I'd wait til nearer Christmas if you haven't got one as quite often some companies will charge you £50 or so and donate it to charity - must be a tax thing!
