op scar on tummy

hi. i've got a large scar (about 15 inches) from an operation about 8 years ago. I am a bit worried what will happen to it now i'm pregnant. i'm worried it might split? x

I am sure it will be fine - if you are concerned, ask your mdwife to keep an eye on it. I had my kids 13 months apart and had a section with both. So my scar was only a few months old when I started showing again - it was fine.

Mcmelon I've got a scar from one side of my stomach to the other - where I've had a few operations and some corrective surgery and thought the same thing when I was pregnant - but it was fine. I kept thinking I'd have to have a c section but I didn't.
