Well time has nearly come for our 5 year anniversary..... end of Jan 2010.

And I would like to surprise my wife and take her away somewhere nice for the weekend.

But cant make up my mind........ to many hotel / holiday search engines to choose from.... driving me mad, seem to be going round in circles here!! Then keep refering everything decent I find back to trip advisor and always end up reading the slightly negative reviews which puts me off.

Well this is what I am after, hopefully someone can help:

Budget up to £200 (£300 inc dinner) one night stay on a Saturday
Within 2 hours drive of Exmouth, Devon
Nice 4 -5 star hotel with pool, jacuzzi, sauna facilities
And must have highly rated restaurant (ideally within hotel, if not somewhere not too far away)
Not really after a small boutique hotel. A country manor hotel, or comtemporary hip hotel would be good.
And somewhere nice to go on the Sunday for lunch....

Look forward to your replies,

Thank you for your help,

Sy

its in a beautiful part of wales, with some good reviews on trip advisor.
How about Bath? Do you know it or have you been before?

Great place. I'm sure your wife would love it, and must be loads of choice for Sunday lunch.
