Not sure as I have never exactly had that, but you will probably be given a few gentle exercises to do each day to ensure that you manitain mobility. These may be stretching and strengthening your back.
You can expect an evaluation at your first visit. After that, you can expect exercises, stretches, moist heat, ultrasounds, massage, range of motion activities, and so on. The therapist will most likely want to see you three times a week! Good Luck! Hope this helps!
Pain when you go in .... less pain when you walk out (hopefully!!) ;-)

A physio therapist will use massage and exercises to get you and your back working as normally as possible given the injury.  This will be important for the long-term healing process necessary with injuries of this kind.  Make the most of it, as a good physio can work wonders.
