Morning yogi. Still in my dressing gown and waiting for hubby to get up (he works evenings and had a late finish). Will make him a cup of tea and a bacon butty when I hear him stirring. Going to write my Christmas cards out later.

Good luck for the MOT later, sweetheart....is it in yet? and are you confident it'll pass?

I've got to get road tax for one of my cars by the end of the month, so may sort it out later today........dvla sent me reminder yesterday, and that they extend to 5 days, if i want to order it online too.

Yeah, i woke up at about 5.00am and could'nt get back to sleep, so just rested and hummed tunes in my head!...lol.......piggin' wind! ( the one outside not in me........lol )

Just waiting for someone to collect it! They checked it over yesterday so I knew what needed doing. :-) Nearly forgot the MOT altogether - why don't we get reminders for them like the road tax?!

I did totally forget mine earlier this year, I was nearly a month late when I remember it needed doing. Oppps

there is a little sticker on the bottom of the MOT certificate now with the date for the retest on it, so you can peel it off and stick it on the inside of the windscreen, then when it comes round to next year you have a nice little sticker that will have faded so much you'll be unable to read it on your windscreen and will still forget :)

I did have one of them chuck. After it faded it fell off LOL Ah well! Glad its not just me!

I forget to put that sticker on my windscreen to remind me, but it's normally in my diary or on the calendar, so i dont forget.................did once a couple of years ago on one of the cars, and drove around in it for about 10 days without an MOT.....lucky i did'nt pass one of the motorway cameras that record your details.......theres loads around here especially on the A27

I think they must give you a little bit of leeway on those ANPR cameras for the MOT, I went to V festival this year during the period I had forgot about my MOT and went past about 3 ANPR vans going into the site and none of them stopped me!

I thought they only checked number plates. There is another camera for road tax too.

Its blowing a gale here, nightmare getting into work due to a tree that had fallen across the road! Its looking as though it'll clear up though!

I'm currently trying to wake up before I tackle my work! I'm looking forward to my birthday trip to London over the weekend :)

What are you up to? I think you should go for a walk on brighton pier and get a Belgian chocolate waffle while the weathers good! xx

Probably they may not be so lenient on Insurance and tax though, but MOT's.....they bend a little, as they must realise that sometimes people MAY just forget.
