I've read lots of excellent reviews for the above and would like to ask for some for Christmas!
Does anyone know where they can be bought (actual shops, rather than online!!!)

There is another easy way you can achieve the desired effect and that is by heating up your standard eye lash curler with your hairdryer. I read this tip in Good Housekeeping many years ago and have used it ever since.
